CBP Officers Seize $100K Worth of Cocaine

EL PASO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Security Officers engaged on the Ysleta border crossing seized 9 kilos of cocaine with an estimated avenue price of larger than $100K, Friday.

“This seizure exemplifies the work our officers do day-to-day to take care of our communities and nation safe,” talked about Port Director Arnoldo Gomez.

The seizure occurred on the Ysleta border crossing when a 24-year-old male, U.S. citizen, accompanied by passenger, 22-year-old male, U.S. citizen, arrived from Mexico by way of car lanes. The folks have been referred for a secondary inspection of the auto the place a non-intrusive (x-ray) scan resulted throughout the detection of anomalies. An intensive examination by CBP officers resulted throughout the discovery of a lot of packages with a weight of 9.61 kilos of cocaine.
